Forrester Research has updated the data of its tool which allows to obtain a segmentation of network users based on a " scale of participation ". If we look at the US population, a significant reduction in the "inactive" is evident, i.e. those who do not allow themselves to be involved in social technologies (down from 44% in May to 25% currently). The "spectators" went from 48% to 69% while the "creators" grew slightly, from 18% to 21%. Shifting attention to our country, what stands out is an increase in "creators" who jumped from 12% to 22% (in the 18-24 age group, it reaches 35%) and a significant decrease in "inactives" who go from 57% to 41%.
